Hazeborough Privacy Policy
Hazeborough is a game published by Gremlin Garage ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is handled when you play Hazeborough on Android.
Information we collect
We do not require an account and we do not collect your name or precise location. Your progress (money, plants, properties, unlocks, settings and your answer to the age check) is saved on your device only and is never sent to us.
Advertising
Hazeborough shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and use device information such as your advertising ID, IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app interactions and diagnostics. This data is shared with Google for advertising and analytics purposes.
Where required (for example in the UK and European Economic Area), you will be asked for consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the game's Settings under "Ad privacy options", and you can reset or opt out of personalised ads in your Android device settings. In-app purchases
Optional purchases are processed entirely by Google Play under Google's terms. We never receive your payment details. Google may provide an order reference so your purchase can be delivered and restored.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the game schedules reminders on your device, such as when a plant is ready or a crate can be opened. These are created locally and contain no personal data. You can turn them off in Settings or in your device settings.
Feedback you send us
If you email us, including through "Send feedback" in the game's Settings, we receive your email address and whatever you send. The in-game button adds the game version, your phone model and browser details, your screen size, your progress and any recent error messages, and you can read and edit all of it before sending. We use it only to reply and to fix problems, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.
Age
Hazeborough is for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Data retention and deletion
Because your progress is stored only on your device, clearing the app's data or uninstalling the game deletes it. Feedback emails are kept only as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. For advertising data, use Google's tools linked above or your device's ad settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the UK and EU), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its use. Apart from feedback emails we do not hold personal data about you, so most requests relate to Google's advertising data; contact us and we will help where we can. In the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
